Low vision is a partial loss of or impairment of vision that cannot be adequately corrected with glasses, contact lenses or other medical
treatments or means. Low vision can be age related such as Age Related Macular Degeneration or caused by diseases and medical
conditions such as but not limited to Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), Diabetes, Glaucoma and birth defects. Severity of low vision can range
from mild to severe which includes many legally blind persons.
